If you are looking to spice up your dinner table, you must try this oyster mushroom salad! It is super easy to make and you are going to love the sauce! Oyster mushrooms are a good source of fiber, protein, and a variety of vitamins and minerals. I regularly include them in my meals and you should too!

The sauce is made of minced garlic, ginger, chili powder, soy sauce and vinegar. It’s super aromatic and can be very spicy as well! It makes the flavor of oyster mushrooms really pop.
How to clean oyster mushrooms?
Oyster mushrooms are super easy to clean and there is no need to wash them with water. Simply wipe off any dirt with a paper towel and they are ready!
How long should oyster mushrooms be cooked?
Oyster mushrooms can be pan fried for 5-8 minutes or blanched for 1-2 minutes. Typically the mushrooms become soft when they are fully cooked! It’s very easy to tell if they are ready!

Ingredients:
Oyster mushrooms 0.5 lb
Garlic 2 cloves
Ginger 1 piece
Chili powder 1 tsp
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Black vinegar 2 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Thai chili 2 (optional)
Cooking oil 3 tbsp

Instructions:
- Wipe off any dirt on oyster mushrooms and split them into bite size pieces. Set aside
- Mince garlic and ginger. Chop Thai chili.
- Bring a pot of water to boil. Blanch oyster mushrooms for 1-2 minutes. Immediately remove and soak in cold water to stop cooking.
- In a bowl, combine minced garlic, ginger, chili powder, soy sauce, black vinegar and sugar to make a sauce. Heat up 3 tbsp of cooking oil, pour over the sauce and mix well.
- Pour sauce onto blanched oyster mushrooms and add in Thai chili. Mix well.
- Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds before serving.
