
If you are looking for an easy but more substantial side dish, try this potato pancake recipe! It’s super easy to make and the main ingredients are just potatoes, carrots and eggs. This dish uses flour and egg to bind shredded potatoes and carrots, creating pancakes on a frying pan.
What are some dipping sauce options?
There are a lot of dipping sauce you can use for these delicious potato pancakes. I like to drip some homemade chili oil on top. Ketchup is another great option and my boyfriend loves it!!
Potato Pancake Ingredients:
Potato: 3 (medium size)
Carrot: 3 (medium size)
Egg: 2
Salt: ½ tsp
Pepper: ¼ tsp
Flour: 3 tbsp
Cooking oil: 2 tbsp
Instructions:
- Peel potatoes and carrots. Shred potatoes and carrots with a grater.
- Mix shredded potato and carrots in a bowl combine 2 eggs, ½ tsp salt, black pepper and flour. Fully mix the ingredients.

- On a non-stick pan, add cooking oil. Use a spoon to scoop potato mixture into the pan. Use a spatula to shade the pancake right after adding it to the pan.

- After the edges of the pancake are becoming crispy, flip it over and wait until the other side becomes crispy as well.

- Serve with a dipping sauce or some chili oil!
