I’m so happy you are here so you can get to know me a little more! I grew up in China and came to the U.S. in 2011 to study in the graduate school here! I was situated in a mid-western town with very few authentic Chinese restaurants around. So I have to rely on myself to create the flavors I miss so much from my hometown Sichuan! Over the years, I became passionate about cooking and sharing authentic recipes from China!ย

I am certainly not professionally trained but both of my parents cooked growing up and I learned about the basic kitchen skills such as how to cut meat and vegetables, how to create a stew and how to make stir-fry dishes. For me, the most important thing is to create easy-to-follow recipes with authentic flavors from China!ย
