Sausage Fried Rice

Ok if you have some leftover sausage in the fridge, why not try to make a delicious fried rice with it for dinner! Yes, sausage fried rice is one of the easiest to make fried rice you can whip up in 10 minutes and it is delicious! Top it with some fresh green onion and you’ll get the treatment of a 5-star hotel!

Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 inch Sausage
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 Green onion
  • 1.5 cup Cooked rice

Equipment

  • 1 wok/pan

Method
 

  1. Finely chop green onion and cut sausage into small pieces
  2. Heat up oil in a pan/wok, add in egg, stir to break egg into smaller pieces
  3. Add in sausage, frozen peas and carrots. Stir fry for 1 minute
  4. Add in rice and stir until there are no chunks of rice. Sprinkle salt ½ tsp
  5. Top with green onion and stir well
  6. Serve
